Supporting the MarshMedia Puberty Education for Students with Special Needs Series, this teaching aid is an easy way to introduce school nurses and teachers to the most effective way to teach this subject. Presented by school nurse, Debbie Sokoloff, the program involves case studies, hands-on activities and techniques for teaching human sexuality education to students with special needs. Debbie discusses how to adapt the curriculum for different levels of ability while teaching students about their changing bodies and about appropriate private and public behaviors. She also presents ways to engage administrators, teachers and parents in creating a common language and set of expectations.
